♻️ About the Finish (Please Read)
This is mill finish aluminium, and aluminium is a soft metal.
You should expect:
Surface scratches
Mill marks
Light cosmetic imperfections
The natural shine of aluminium can make marks more visible. These are cosmetic only and do not affect performance. This is part of the character of using recycled material, and every planter is unique.
The external face has a protective film applied, which must be peeled off prior to planting.
💧 Drainage & Planting Advice
The base is loose on three edges to allow excellent natural drainage across the full length of the planter.
If you prefer additional drainage holes, these can easily be added using a standard household drill. After drilling, file any sharp edges and apply a small amount of clear nail varnish or super glue to seal exposed metal.
For longevity, lining the planter before planting is recommended (optional but beneficial). Pond liner works very well, though even tin foil can be used.

🛡️ Optional Safety Edge
A detachable black rubber safety trim can be added to the top rim.
It can be secured with super glue if desired, or will gradually shrink to fit snugly when exposed to warmth and sunlight.
All edges are filed smooth, however care should be taken if ordering without the rubber trim.

Each planter is sent with its own individual postage label
Multiple items cannot be combined into one parcel, I will try if I can but this obviously increases the weight and size.
Each planter is made to order using genuine industrial aluminium roofing offcuts supplied to both the public and the roofing trade. Small cosmetic marks are part of the recycled nature of the material and do not affect use.

Frequently Asked Questions
Delivery & Returns of standard items;
All deliveries are made by our courier, currently APC. They provide a next day service across Mainland UK. If however you are located offshore, or in Northern Ireland delivery will be via Parcel Force so please allow up to 14 days in this instance.
Should you wish to return an item, please contact us before returning items. If the item is damaged or faulty you will be offered a replacement.
If the item is simply "unwanted" the cost of returning the item will be at the buyers expense, it must be received in a resalable condition at which point a full refund will be given for the cost of the item.
If my Order isn't arrived what do I do?
In the unlikely event of the order not arriving, we ask that you check with your local depot initially.
For APC deliveries you will be provided with a courier consignment number which you can use on the APC website to locate your parcel.
For Royal Mail (parcel force) despatch this will be your local Royal Mail Delivery Office.

Can you Gift Wrap my Order?
Absolutely we can, just select the Gift Wrap Service from the list of items for sale, and rest assured your item will be gift wrapped prior to despatch.
I would like Drainage Holes adding, is this possible?
I am not able to add drainage holes to the Planters or Window Boxes any longer, they aren’t really needed. Please do remember that the planters in most cases are only fixed on 1 base edge, and loose on the other 3 so drainage holes are unnecessary hence not offered as standard.
Custom and personalised orders
I can certainly do custom orders, please be aware however, the material may need to be ordered in especially so the price may be more than the planters in the shop, also I am not a robot so please allow a degree of tolerance with the measurements -/+5mm I do may best but sometimes the metal doesn’t play ball :)
Obviously, unless a serious error has been made, or damage in transit custom orders are non returnable.
